I've been having trouble packing everthing I need for trips lately. I can't really figure out why, but it's been happening since I got married.
Example 1, in August we went camping and left our sleeping bags at home.
Example 2, last month I left my toiletries bag at home when visiting my sister in Santa Cruz overnight.
Example 3, I left my boxers at home when going to Paso Robles for two days this past weekend. I had everything else, but my damn shorts. That left me to hang loose for the weekend. It took me a while to even get comfortable with the idea. I realized that I was uneasy with this prospect due to the fear of getting "pantsed" and caught sans-undies, even though I haven't been "pantsed" since the third grade. After rationalizing my fear, it was smooth sailing and I rather enjoyed it.
FYI: I have no plans to hange loose in the future, so you can skip "pantsing" me next time we meet up in a local tavern.
